Memang betul la pregnant kali ni mencabar. Kita hanya merancang, Allah SWT yang menentukan rancangan kita menjadi ke tak..

Makcik Jannah and Nisa

Saya ingatkan sebab dah ada pengalaman bersalinkan Nisa dulu, this pregnancy and confinement boleh diplan cantik-cantik. So everything dah siap.. Dari barang-barang baby sampai ke barang-barang maknya (that's me..) sampai ke documentation sampai ke berpantang. Masa berpantang kali pertama dulu, saya guna khidmat Makcik Jannah sebagai my confinement lady. Honestly speaking, I gave her 5 stars for her service. Dari bangun pagi, sarapan, mandi herba, berurut, bertungku, berbengkung, urut baby, mandi baby, memasak, mencuci, melipat kain, minum petang, makan malam dan jaga baby waktu malam semua dia yang buat. Siap bagi minum 2 jenis home-made jamu lagi (faham-faham la kan jamu.. Mana ada yang sedap. Tapi nak baik cepat punya pasal teguk jer...). Dia menjaga saya macam saya ni anak dia. Paling best, harga service dia betul2 berpatutan dan berbaloi.

Saya dah book Makcik Jannah waktu 3 bulan mengandung lagi sebab Makcik Jannah ni kalau lambat book memang tak dapat. Dia tinggal di Masjid Tanah, Melaka tapi service dia orang pakai sampai ke Perak. Dah excited nak jumpa Makcik Jannah semula 11 Mac ni (EDD 10 Mac). Tiba-tiba dapat phone call dari husband Makcik Jannah.. Makcik Jannah terlibat dalam kemalangan motosikal 2 hari lepas. Retak kakinya.. Jadi tak dapatlah nak menjaga saya berpantang kali ni.... Alahai terkejut dan kecewanya rasa... Saya doakan  Makcik Jannah cepat sembuh...

Sekarang, saya terkial-kial nak cari orang sebagai confinement lady. Setakat ni tak ada seorang pun yang sanggup bagi service macam Makcik Jannah buat. Ada terjumpa satu blog tentang service penjagaan ibu dan anak dalam pantang selama 8 jam sehari tapi Masya Allah punyalah mahal.. Jadi saya turunkan sikit my requirement from the day-in-day-out service (24 hours) to menjaga saya berpantang saja (mandi herba, urut, tungku, bengkung). I did call a few numbers that I got through friends and blogs. So far harganya sekitar RM180 untuk 3 kali (most of them tak bagi service mandi herba). To me it's reasonable...  But... some of them doesn't sound so friendly over the phone. Some even sound a bit rude and sombong to me.. Pada saya, if nak buat bisnes, one should appear friendly and approachable. Anyway, I'm still looking around for someone to take care of me in my confinement.

After going through my experience with Nisa, I see now the importance of taking good care of ones' health after delivery. Under Makcik Jannah's care, I recovered and became healthy in a very short time (lebih kurang 15 hari lepas bersalin). I followed every tips and advice that she gave. Most of my friends who came to visit me within that 44 days of confinement said I looked rosy (chewah puji diri nampak!!!) and healthy. So I am hoping this time, under some other confinement lady's care I can recover as fast as the last time. Tak sangguplah sakit lama-lama. Lagipun nak baik cepat so I can take care both of my girls.

So friends out there, if you happen to know someone who can do her job as well as Makcik Jannah had done or you have experienced one with good service, please, please contact me asap. Desperado dah ni. Tolong yek.. TQ

The Long-Due Updates On Baby Number Two

My last entry was almost 5 months ago... Tangguh punya tangguh, akhirnya dapat juga curi-curi masa buat entry lagi. Kali ni nak share updates about Baby Number Two.

Overall, my pregancy this time is WAY different from my experience carrying Nisa. I had bad morning sicknesses. Unlucky for me, the morning sickness was not only confined in the morning. It could kick at any time of the day. The bright side of it, I'm not gaining much weight this time. To date, I only gained 8 kg. Yeayyy!!!

Besides, during this pregnancy I'm occupied with my rosy Nisa, which is growing up fast. So, aksi kejar-mengejar Nisa, yelling "No Nisa!!!" and teaching her basic skills like eating, drinking, speaking takes a lot of my energy. Not to forget too, at 7 months preggy I was invigilating for PMR, marking exam papers and moving into our new home (yeayyyy again!!) simultaneously.

The first real look of Baby Number Two at 22 weeks

Throughout the 33 weeks, I was well and healthy. Then, the flu, fever and really bad cough started which lasted for 1 week plus. At late 35 weeks, I had really bad irregular contractions that lasted for 13 hours. It seemed that because I had the fever for so long that Baby Number Two was infected with it too. I was admitted to Putrajaya Hospital for two days..

Doc's strict advice; REST!!

After being discharged, I felt as healthy as a horse! I carried on with my daily activities as a wife and a teacher. Sempat lagi pergi buat 4D scan of Baby Number Two sebab rindu..

37 weeks

Things seemed ok until that fateful day...

At 37 weeks, in heavy rain, with bags on my back, an umbrella and Nisa in my arms, and not forgetting  an aching waist, I fell down face-first by the roadside...

Alhamdulillah, Baby Number Two is ok. So now I am at 38 weeks, with a blue and swollen feet because of the incident. I learned my lesson; you are NOT so strong when you wobbled about like a hyppo, so ASK for help when you need to. Hahaha!! Anyway, it really was my mistake for not being careful. 

I look like a time-bomb, just waiting for Baby Number Two to pop out and see the world. My EDD is on March 10 which is about 2 weeks away. My soon-to-be-big-sista is as charming as always. She sorts of understand that mama is not well and needs to rest so now she is keen to "glue" herself to the father and forever yelling "Ayah! Ayah!"

Saya minta maaf sangat tak sempat nak bermaaf-maafan dengan kalian kerana MC pada hari terakhir saya bekerja sebelum bercuti panjang. Saya mengambil kesempatan ini memohon ampun dan maaf kepada semua serta halalkan makan minum saya. Doakanlah semuanya selamat akhirnya dan saya dan baby sihat.

Baby No. 2 Is On The Way Peps!!!

Wahahaha!!! Gempar!!! Bukan setakat family je yang terkezut. Saye sendiri and hubby pun macam tak percaya. How does that happen?? (Dlm ati, sudah tahu bertanya pula.. Hihihihi)


Skipping the technical part ehrmmm... This pregnancy is a wonderful surprise to us. Alhamdulillah, syukur ke hadrat Allah SWT, keluarga kecil kami akan bertambah besar 11 Mac 2013 akan datang. We are hoping for a boy this time dengan izinNya. But, kalau girl pun, kami terima dengan selautan kasih dan sayang. We pray hard for a safe, healthy and wonderful journey along my pregnancy and delivery onwards. So, my Nisa is gonna be a big sis next year. And already she's "glued" to my side day-in day-out now that baby no. 2 is coming. Hahaha!!! My possessive girl :)
