Masuk minggu ke-2 bekerja selepas raya. Macam tak cukup tangan, kaki, kepala menguruskan macam-macam hal kat sekolah. Kertas trial SPM lagi yg tak tersiap-siap. Rs macam bukan baru cuti seminggu jer...
Anyway, cerita pasal raya puasa tahun ni. Tahun ni lah raya yang paling sederhana untuk kami sekeluarga. Kuih raya sikit, baju raya sikit, takde beli furniture baru, takde buat open house, allocation for duit raya also very lah ciput. Anak-anak jelah yang kami lebihkan. Ni semua adalah langkah-langkah penstrukturan semula kewangan keluarga. Hahaha.. Tapi, kereta pulak meragam bateri kong on raya ke-3. Terbang juga RM300+. Apepun, syukurlah dia kong kat rumah je. Buatkan kong kat tempat lain, tepi jalan ke, tepi highway ke, kat Johor ke, tak ke naya namanya...
Citer pasal Johor pulak, kami pergi holiday di Pulai Desaru Beach Resort and Spa, Kota Tinggi, Johor (panjang benar namanya) on the fourth raya. First time beli ikut Groupon. Kesimpulannya; BEST & BERBALOI2!! Why do I say so?

Review of the resort:
Padan untuk 4 stars resort. Ambiance santai. Sikit2 Baliness pun ada. Check-in was super fast. In fact, masa kitorang sampai tu, sebut nama je terus kuar fail and room key so memang pujilah kecekapan staffs kat front kaunter. Sementara nak check-in, anak-anak siap bersuka ria kat playroom lagi.

Bilik pulak lain citernye. We were a bit down when we got into the room. It was clean but looks old with worn out furnitures. Poor lighting. Toilet door knob not working. Bath towel tak cukup. No hand towel provided. Paling teruk, air-cond not working! The only thing that we were happy is the bedding. 1 king and 1 super single and they were the only "new" furniture in the room.
Tapi pasal nak relax2 punya pasal, sabar.. Takmo ngamuk2. So, kitorang kuar for dinner kat pekan Penawar with the hope the room will be cool enough by the time we got back. 2 hours later, huh.. panas camtu jugak. Takleh sabar dah, mintak tukar bilik. Terus resort bagi bilik lain.
Ha, this time, best!! Macam baru buat face lift. New paint, new furnitures, good tv reception, good lighting, modern looking bathroom, 2 extra pillows, 2 pairs of house slippers, 3 bath towels. Barulah 4 stars room!!
The pool was awesome!! Mmg bestlah!
The beach is oklah. The waves were huge so tak jadi bawak anak-anak mandi laut. Anyway, they hated it..

Breakfast buffet was ok. Choices of food tak berapa banyak tapi makanan tak putus. So, duduklah berapa lama pun, the food kept on coming sampai almost 11am. Since we got the vouchers and coupons, we had our dinner on the second night at its restaurant. Best!!

Hotel ni ada sort of mini zoo. Anak-anak were really, really excited to see the chickens, birds, parrots and peacocks.

Ikut plan asal, nak gi dusun buah and ostrich farm. Tapi hujan pulak.. By the time the rain stops, dah pukul 4 ptg. We decided to visit the ostrich farm only. But, the children seriously enjoyed the trip. Just look at the pictures!!

All in all, we really had a great time. Ke mana pulak kita Abang bulan September ni? Ada cuti skolah seminggu tau.. Hihihi!!!
