Baked Cheese Macaroni

Honestly, this is my first attempt. I Googled the recipe, browsed a few blogs and then came up with my own recipe. Actually, I simply make do with what I have in my almost empty fridge. Haha!!

So this is how it goes...

1 packet of macaroni (obviously.. duhhh..)
Boiled until soft. Sieve it out of the hot water and cool it with running water (to wash off the excess starch that makes them stick to each other). Then pour in a bit of olive oil so that it won't dry out. Put aside.

Next:
1 packet of mince meat/chicken (I used beef)
1 large onion
Lots of minced garlic (the more the tastier for me.. hihi)
1 green capsicum
1 carrot
1 can of button mushroom
1 can of Prego spaghetti sauce
Salt (use the salt sparingly as cheese is a bit salty)
Sugar

Just go about with all of those as how you make spaghetti sauce. Put aside.

This is how mine looks like
Lastly:
1 mug of fresh milk
2 spoonful of butter
Lots of cheddar cheese

Melt the butter. Add in the milk and boil them. Turn off the stove and add in the cheese. Stir until the cheese melts. It smells lovely...

I call this the white sauce

As I don't have an oven, I simply used my "Pemanggang Ajaib".

In action once again. Yeah!!
First layer; the macaroni.

Second layer; the spaghetti sauce.

Third layer; the white sauce.

Lastly, a generous amount of grated cheese..

Close the pan and with a small fire, cook for 20 minutes, and here's the end product!!

Sedap tahap GABAN!!
Warning: Not recommended for those who are afraid of huge calories, women on a diet and those with cardiovascular problems. Peace!!!
