The Long-Due Updates On Baby Number Two

My last entry was almost 5 months ago... Tangguh punya tangguh, akhirnya dapat juga curi-curi masa buat entry lagi. Kali ni nak share updates about Baby Number Two.

Overall, my pregancy this time is WAY different from my experience carrying Nisa. I had bad morning sicknesses. Unlucky for me, the morning sickness was not only confined in the morning. It could kick at any time of the day. The bright side of it, I'm not gaining much weight this time. To date, I only gained 8 kg. Yeayyy!!!

Besides, during this pregnancy I'm occupied with my rosy Nisa, which is growing up fast. So, aksi kejar-mengejar Nisa, yelling "No Nisa!!!" and teaching her basic skills like eating, drinking, speaking takes a lot of my energy. Not to forget too, at 7 months preggy I was invigilating for PMR, marking exam papers and moving into our new home (yeayyyy again!!) simultaneously. 

So here are some bits and pics of what had been going on for the past 38 weeks of my pregnancy with Baby Number Two..

The first real look of Baby Number Two at 22 weeks

33 weeks

Throughout the 33 weeks, I was well and healthy. Then, the flu, fever and really bad cough started which lasted for 1 week plus. At late 35 weeks, I had really bad irregular contractions that lasted for 13 hours. It seemed that because I had the fever for so long that Baby Number Two was infected with it too. I was admitted to Putrajaya Hospital for two days..

Doc's strict advice; REST!!

After being discharged, I felt as healthy as a horse! I carried on with my daily activities as a wife and a teacher. Sempat lagi pergi buat 4D scan of Baby Number Two sebab rindu..

37 weeks

Things seemed ok until that fateful day...

At 37 weeks, in heavy rain, with bags on my back, an umbrella and Nisa in my arms, and not forgetting  an aching waist, I fell down face-first by the roadside...

Alhamdulillah, Baby Number Two is ok. So now I am at 38 weeks, with a blue and swollen feet because of the incident. I learned my lesson; you are NOT so strong when you wobbled about like a hyppo, so ASK for help when you need to. Hahaha!! Anyway, it really was my mistake for not being careful. 

I look like a time-bomb, just waiting for Baby Number Two to pop out and see the world. My EDD is on March 10 which is about 2 weeks away. My soon-to-be-big-sista is as charming as always. She sorts of understand that mama is not well and needs to rest so now she is keen to "glue" herself to the father and forever yelling "Ayah! Ayah!"

Saya minta maaf sangat tak sempat nak bermaaf-maafan dengan kalian kerana MC pada hari terakhir saya bekerja sebelum bercuti panjang. Saya mengambil kesempatan ini memohon ampun dan maaf kepada semua serta halalkan makan minum saya. Doakanlah semuanya selamat akhirnya dan saya dan baby sihat.
